GROWING UP IN THE NEW IRAQ
KURDISTAN 2009: While the war is still going on in Baghdad, there is a new nation rising with immense speed in the north of the federation. Children who are growing up in Kurdistan are, today, by far the most prosperious generation in the region.
Their everyday life is filled with high hopes, and a fear of that the peace they now know and have been longing for will not last.
This documentary is a part of the graduation project, 'Teaching the World', at Bilder Nordic School of Photography, 2007/09.
